Kishan Shah, PT, DPT, CMTPT / Physical Therapist
“Kish” was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He went to Woodlawn high school graduating in 2010. He attended Louisiana State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the Kinesiology major in 2014. Kish attended the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. Kish received his doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2018, and soon began working for Bourgeois Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab.
Since working as a physical therapist, Kish has received a certification in Concussion Management from Complete Concussion Management Incorporation, and also received his dry needling certification from Myopain Seminars earning the credentials CMTPT in 2020.
Kish is an avid sports enthusiast (especially of the LSU Fighting Tigers!), and currently plays volleyball, basketball, and flag football. He enjoys working with all populations, and especially loves being a mentor to young patients. Kish is fueled by his passion to treat every individual, helping them get back to their normal activities. He enjoys educating all his patients about their condition, giving them comfort and enjoyment during treatment. He also loves to learn more each day from colleagues in order to become a better physical therapist. Kish likes to say, “teamwork makes the dream work” and “let’s make it happen.”
